70-year-old man fatally shot in Hunting Park
The man was found fatally wounded inside a gray BMW that had crashed into a parked vehicle on the 4300 block of North Seventh Street, police said.
A 70-year-old man died Friday evening after he was found fatally shot inside a car in the city’s Hunting Park section, police said.
Around 6:25 p.m., police responded to the 4300 block of North Seventh Street, where they found the man inside a gray BMW with a gunshot wound to his upper chest.
Police transported the man, who was not identified, to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:28 p.m.
Inspector D.F. Pace said the man was probably driving at a different unknown location when he was shot and he possibly was trying find help when the BMW crashed into a parked car.
Police reported no arrests.
