13-year-old boy is killed in a West Oak Lane double shooting
The shooting happened around 8:45 p.m. on the 7100 block of North 19th Street. A 14-year-old boy was listed in stable condition with gunshot wounds to his legs.

A 13-year-old boy was killed and a 14-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting Tuesday night in the city’s West Oak Lane section, police said.
Around 8:45 p.m., police responded to numerous 911 calls about a shooting on the 7100 block of North 19th Street, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.
Police transported two victims to Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital.
The 13-year-old, who was shot twice in the back, was pronounced dead at 9:20 p.m., Small said.
The older boy was listed in stable condition with gunshot wounds to his legs.
Police were told that the two boys could be heard in an argument and then gunfire erupted, Small said.
Police found 19 spent shell casings at the scene on the residential block.
The shooter remained at large late Tuesday night.
