The Big Picture
From the Eagles — and their many fans — in London to the U.S. women’s national soccer team taking on Spain in Chester, these are our best sports photos of the week.

The Eagles went to London this past weekend and all they got their fans was a brutal loss. Brutal because, as the coach admitted, it never should have gone down like that — and now the Eagles are facing an uncertain short-term future following news that Jalen Hurts has a blood clot in his leg. At least things are as bad for the Birds as they are for the hapless Flyers, who set a new franchise record this week with their seven-game losing streak to start the season.
Each Friday, Inquirer photo editors pick the best sports images from the last seven days. Here’s this week’s Big Picture, starting with one of the few games this week that didn’t end in a loss for the home team. (Sure, it was technically a draw, but we’re counting that this week.)
