Restaurant Details
High Street
After an extended pandemic-related hiatus, this Old City favorite has been reborn in Washington Square West with more seating, a glassed-in showcase pastry kitchen and a 14-seat bar. It’s a more ambitious venue for Ellen Yin and company, but they’re sticking to the simple-yet-elegant High Street game plan: baked goods in the morning; sandwiches, salads, and house-made breads for lunch; and a full-service restaurant at dinner. Brunch too, of course. Chef Christina McKeough’s menu is anchored by small comfort-food options like pizza and pasta, built with locally sourced grains and flour.
