Shane Victorino and Larry Bowa to manage in Futures Game during All-Star week
Victorino will be at the helm of the National League team, while Bowa will manage the American League prospects for the July 12 game at Citizens Bank Park.

Shane Victorino and Larry Bowa will serve as managers for the 2026 All-Star Futures Game, Major League Baseball announced Wednesday.
The Futures Game showcases baseball’s top minor league prospects in a seven-inning game. Victorino will be at the helm of the National League team, while Bowa will manage the American League prospects. The Futures Game will be held on July 12 at Citizens Bank Park as part of the All-Star week festivities.

Victorino and Bowa won the World Series with the Phillies during their playing careers. Victorino was a key member of the championship core in 2008, while Bowa was the starting shortstop when the franchise captured its first title in 1980. Following his 16-season playing career, Bowa transitioned to coaching and won Manager of the Year in 2001 with the Phillies. He serves as a senior advisor to baseball operations with the team.
Last year, the Phillies were represented by catcher Eduardo Tait, who was later dealt to the Twins as part of a trade package for Jhoan Duran. Andrew Painter was also included on the National League roster but did not make an appearance.
