A Pennsylvania Society event in Pennsylvania, for once
Who needs New York City?
Pennsylvania Society is starting early this year, with one of the first see-and-be-seen events scheduled for right here in the fair (if broke) capital of Pennsylvania.
Between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. tonight, the Ridge Policy Group is hosting what they are calling a "preamble" to this weekend's Pennsylvania Society, with the guest of honor being (wait for it now) former Gov. Tom Ridge. It's not a fundraiser, we are told, just the opening act for the upcoming weekend of dinners, drinks and gossip in New York.
Tonight's star-studded event is set to start at 5 p.m. at the Ridge Policy Group's offices on 2nd Street.
It is by invite only, so if you are thinking of crashing, you may want to come armed with a plan.
Press, not surprisingly, is not on the invite list.
