Calif. congressman may ask for special prosecutor in Sestak job-offer case

Rep. Darrell Issa of California, the top Republican on the government oversight committee, says he may ask for a special prosecutor to examine Rep. Joe Sestak's claim the White House offered him a job to forego a challenge to Sen. Arlen Specter in the Democratic primary.

The White House has been blowing off Rep. Darrell Issa of California, and the top Republican on the House Government Oversight Committee is not pleased about it. He told CBS News Wednesday that he would ask for a special prosecutor to investigate if White House officials don't provide answers to his questions about Rep. Joe Sestak's claim that he was offered a top federal job in exchange for forgoing a Democratic primary challenge to Sen. Arlen Specter.
