Former President Bill Clinton, the leading star in a national Democratic Party that has seen its image and its leaders battered by political adversity in recent months, will campaign for Dan Onorato on Monday in Philadelphia.

Details are still to come, but the Onorato campaign said that Clinton is expected to do some street campaigning with the Democratic gubernatorial candidate in West Philadelphia.

Clinton in recent weeks has been on the road in several states helping to rally support for Democrats in key races. The former president was in Scranton on Aug. 11 to attend a rally for Joe Sestak, his party's candidate for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania. The same day, he attended a private fund-raising event for Onorato at the National Constitution Center.
