Hiring and firing now up to PA AG Kane's embattled chief of staff
Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane has given her new chief of staff authority over personnel decisions, according to documents, effectively giving him jurisdiction over the two women who reported he made unwanted sexual advances toward them.
He continued: "Issues or concerns relative to this organizational structure should be addressed to me."
Monday that Kane has no plans to fire
He then asked for an accounting of everyone who has been hired since the beginning of her tenure in January 2013, among other information, because "the General and I intend to use this document as a way to hold the [office] accountable for dysfunction in the process."
