Sestak blows off Obama in Pittsburgh

Newly minted Democratic Senate nominee Joe Sestak has better things to do than appear with President Obama today in Pittsburgh.

Rep. Joe Sestak, the Democratic nominee for Senate, won't be standing with President Obama during his visit to Pittsburgh today. The president is scheduled to discuss the economy at Carnegie Mellon University.

Sestak has previous commitments, his campaign told some reporters.

Obama has an anemic statewide approval rating.
