Sure, the auto industry is important, but so is the snack selection in the Senate cafeteria.
Sen. Bob Casey (D., Pa.) is lobbying the new management of the Senate restaurants to return Snyder's Pretzels and Utz Potato Chips to their shelves. Both iconic brands are based in York County.
"The fact that these products were on the shelves for more than a decade is a testament to their universal appeal," Casey wrote in a letter to restaurant executives, asking them to restock the snacks, which were offered from 1996 until recently.
