Council done good on ethics reforms

A couple of weeks ago, Council was considering a package of ethics bills that included a good bill about lobbying and a bad one about political activity. Today, it passed the good one and not the bad one, and Councilwoman Tasco said the body would continue to work on fixing political activity rules. That sounds just about right.
