Police are looking for suspects in a North Philadelphia shooting that left a 37-year-old man dead Tuesday night.

Officers were called to a report of a person with a gun on the 2300 block of West Atlantic Street in the city's Nicetown-Tioga section around 10:15 p.m., authorities said.

Upon their arrival, police found Garfield Adams, 37, slumped over on the porch of a house, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Temple Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:17 p.m, according to police.

Authorities are investigating, but have not yet determined a motive for the shooting. No description of potential suspect or suspects was available.
