Former Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb was arrested on Saturday for boating while intoxicated in Willacy County, Texas, according to a report by

"The arrest citation was verified by Willacy County Sheriff's office to Willacy County Sheriff's office was not able to provide a mugshot of Kolb, but was able to verify that the date of birth was August 24, 1984.

Kolb was arrested for boating while intoxicated.  He was released Sunday on a personal recognizance bond. The arrest occured on Saturday June 28.  He spent time in jail from 2:44am on June 29, 2014 and was released at 1:11pm."

The 29-year old Kolb was a second round draft pick by the Eagles in the 2007 NFL Draft, and was dubbed the successor to Donovan McNabb.

However, he only made seven starts with Philadelphia as concussions derailed his tenure with the Eagles.

Kolb was traded after the 2010 season to the Arizona Cardinals for cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. He last appeared on an NFL roster in 2013 as a member of the Buffalo Bills.
