Chef Brinn Sinnott, one of the bright spots at the now-shuttered Noble on Sansom Street, has landed as a sous chef's job at Talula's Garden on Washington Square.

Stephen Starr, who bought Noble and plans to convert it into the Italian restaurant Il Pittore next month, had promised to give preference to Noble employees. "Brinn is excellent," Starr said today. "He was an easy hire."

Sinnott, starting today, joins the newly appointed executive chef, Sean McPaul.

Talula's Garden has a date at the James Beard House in New York on Nov. 9.
