Honeygrow opening on Temple campus

The fast-casual chain, whose founder graduated from Temple's business school, has a spot in Morgan Hall.

Honeygrow, the homegrown stir-fry/salad/smoothie specialist, will open a branch at Temple University in the fall.

For founder/CEO Justin Rosenberg, this location is personal, as he graduated from Temple's Fox School of Business with a Fox Global MBA in 2009. He said he wrote a chunk of Honeygrow's business plan at Alter Hall.

Honeygrow will take space within Morgan Hall, a fairly new residence hall at the southeast corner of Broad Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue. This location will seat 50.

Honeygrow, whose corporate HQ will be moving this spring from Center City to Fishtown, now has seven stores and plans to open nine more by the end of the year.
