Leading up to television's biggest event, this week proved to be no exception from the sensationalism of Super Bowl weeks of years past. Here is what we loved from this week and can't wait to watch tonight:

Use Rate It Now during the Super Bowl to weigh in on commercials and more.

Week in review:

1. Beyonce admits she lip synced at the Inauguration

On Thursday, she admitted during her Super Bowl news conference that when she performed for President Barack Obama and the nation, she decided to sing to a prerecorded track because she didn't have time to practice. Calling herself a self-proclaimed "perfectionist," she said wanted the day to go off without a hitch. For tonight, she assured viewers that she will sing live at the Super Bowl halftime show.

2. Justin Timberlake gives Super Bowl-eve comeback concert

Move over Beyonce, JT had New Orleans buzzing last night as he gave his first performance in nearly five years. A sizzling, hour-long concert that featured the nattily dressed entertainer and guest appearances by Timbaland and Jay-Z showed that JT is ready to bring "SexyBack".

3. Wing Bowl XXI and the lovely Wingettes

In a "shocker," an out-of-towner named "The Bear" won Wing Bowl XXI with 287 wings consumed in a half-hour. Browse photos of the Wingette competition from the Wells Fargo Center here.

4. Jude Law and Channing Tatum share Super Bowl plans

Apparently, Jude Law has no clue what "tailgating" means, but Channing Tatum said he'd teach Law about Americans football traditions. Look for Tatum at New Orleans bar Saints and Sinners.

5. So many A-list parties, so little time!

From CeeLo, who is performing at ESPN's Next event, to Questlove, who is performing with The Roots at three Super Bowl parties, Beyonce may not even have the most anticipated performance surrounding the big game.
