Homicide victim identified as Yeadon resident

A 20-year-old man shot and killed yesterday on a South Philadelphia street has been identified as Domonic Coleman of Yeadon.

A 20-year-old man shot and killed yesterday on a South Philadelphia street has been identified as Domonic Coleman of Yeadon.

Another 20-year-old man wounded in the same shooting remained in critical condition this morning at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Whether the men were shot by someone else or if they shot each other is not clear. Police have not yet reported any details of their investigation.

Coleman, who was on probation for a minor drug possession charge, was found about 3 p.m. yesterday on the 3100 block of Tasker Street in Grays Ferry with gunshot wounds to the face, chest and thigh.

The other man, who had been shot in the chest, was found in a residence around the corner on the 1500 block of South Napa Street.
