A 27-year-old man was shot and fatally wounded in Port Richmond shortly before midnight.

Lawrence Coleman, of the 1000 block of W. Schiller St., was sitting in a gold Ford Windstar minivan when an unknown gunman approached and fired 15 shots into him.

Coleman was pronounced dead at Temple University at 12:21 a.m. today. Investigators have not determined a motive in the slaying, police said.

Earlier in the evening, a woman in Southwest Center City was stabbed to death in her second floor apartment on the 900 block of South 16th Street.

Ameya Spratley, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene at 7 p.m. Keith Moore, 23, who lived with Spratley, has been arrested and charged with her murder, police said.

In the third homicide, Daymond Williams, 30, was shot in back and the right side of the head while sitting in the passenger seat of vehicle on the 2800 block of East Pacific Street in Port Richmond.

Williams, who lived on the 1800 block of North Newkirk Street in North Philadelphia, was pronounced dead on the scene around 7:30 p.m.

Another 30-year-old man wounded in the chest in the same shooting remained in critical condition at Temple University Hospital, police said.

Police have not disclosed the relationship, if any, between the two men.
