HORSHAM Horsham Township has entered into a special one-year contract for professional planning assistance from the Montgomery County Planning Commission, the county announced.
The contract focuses on the development of a master plan for the Horsham Business Center and the Pennsylvania Business Campus.
"The planning done today will help to create a sustainable future for these important centers," Jody L. Holton, executive director of the Montgomery County Planning Commission, said in a statement.
The master plan will be designed to identify market opportunities, appropriate land uses, locations for new land uses, recommended design guidelines, recommended zoning changes, possible business park amenities, and potential road and other infrastructure improvements.
The project is expected to be guided by a steering committee that includes local business leaders, property owners, municipal officials, and county economic development professionals. - Inquirer staff
