Mail carriers to collect canned food Saturday

Letter carriers will collect canned food as they deliver mail Saturday in the nation's largest single-day food drive.

Donors are asked to leave a sturdy bag containing nonperishable foods such as canned soup, fruits or vegetables, pasta, rice, or cereal next to their mailboxes before Saturday's regular mail delivery. Local donations will benefit Philabundance and the Food Bank of South Jersey. - Cynthia Henry
