Delco town official named to Pa. game commission board

A Delaware County municipal official has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners, it was announced Monday.

Brian Hoover, the current Glenolden Borough manager, will serve an eight-year term representing nine counties in the southeast region of the state. There is no compensation for the position, according to the Pennsylvania Game Commission.

Hoover, the former owner of South East Archery and Sports in Folcroft, has been a 27-year volunteer instructor with the commission's Hunter-Trapper Education program. He also is a member of the Delaware County Animal Protection Board.
