A modern and vintage rebuild in Philly's Passyunk Square
1:56
Madhurika Jeremiah’s modern rebuild in South Philly is full of vintage touches. After discovering the house they bought in 2017 had serious structural problems, Jeremiah and her husband decided to start from scratch. They spent three years building what would become their “forever home” — complete with a lush garden, antique lighting, and plenty of houseplants. With 10½-foot-high ceilings, an open living and dining room, pale pine flooring, and pink-beige tinged white walls, the 16-foot-wide rowhouse is bright and airy.
