A man was fatally stabbed in a West Philly home and his suspected killer is in custody
After stabbing a man inside a home, the armed suspect barricaded himself inside. The incident is the fourth such standoff in Philadelphia since Saturday.

A man is in custody and another man is dead after a stabbing and subsequent barricade situation in West Philadelphia Thursday morning, police said.
The incident began around 9:00 a.m., when police went to a residence near Arch Street between 60th and 61st streets after a report of a person with a weapon.
There they encountered a man who had been stabbed. He was pronounced dead at 9:19 a.m., authorities said.
Police were not able to immediately apprehend the suspected killer, who barricaded himself inside the home.
By around 11:30 a.m., that standoff had been resolved, and the suspect, whom police did not identify, is in custody.
Detectives with the homicide unit are investigating.
The incident is the fourth major barricade situation in Philadelphia in recent days.
Early Saturday morning, police and SWAT units engaged in a standoff for more than an hour with Eric Lewis, the man accused of fatally shooting police officer Shane Seiber and injuring his partner.
Then on Monday, a man died by suicide in Fox Chase after barricading himself on a SEPTA bus for hours.
Police believe the man was a suspect in the fatal shooting of two women found in a Cedarbrook home where a fire had been reported earlier that day.
And on Tuesday, police took a woman into custody in a Southwest Philadelphia apartment complex after she barricaded herself there wielding a rifle, pointing it at the doors of her neighbors. No injuries were reported.
