We’re days from the start of Eagles season, but Philly’s summer sports teams — the Phillies and Union — are still going strong as they head down the stretch. From Citizens Bank Park to Chester, it was a busy week for the two clubs, with the Phillies hosting the Braves and Astros and the Union hosting Cincinnati and Montreal. And at some point along the way, Temple opened its season with a win over Rhode Island at Lincoln Financial Field. The Owls will be back there Saturday when they host No. 16 Penn State, a day before the Eagles kick off against the Washington Commanders.
