Here are some of the Philly bars opening early with brunch specials for the Birds’ 9:30 kickoff in London
Multiple Philly restaurants are offering brunch deals as the Birds kick off against the Jaguars in London

It’s going to be an early Sunday for Birds fans as the Eagles travel to London for their Week 5 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. And with kickoff scheduled for 9:30 a.m. (NFL Network), some Philly bars are adjusting their schedules to give Birds fans a place to watch the game bright and early.
Here are some of the bars that will be opening early and offering brunch specials on game day:
Lion Sports Bar
Lion Sports Bar, located on Arch Street, will open at 7:30 a.m., offering a $55 open bar and all-you-can-eat buffet — including unlimited wings, General Tso’s chicken, chicken fried rice, veggie stir-fried noodles, fries, edamame, and veggie spring rolls.
The open bar will include cocktails like lychee martinis, margaritas, and tequila sunrises. Featured beers include Corona, Budweiser, Yuengling, and Michelob Ultra.
There’s also a premium open bar ticket package for $70, which includes everything in the regular open bar ticket package plus espresso martinis, Peroni, Kona, Espolòn, Jameson, Tito’s, and Bacardi.
Tickets, which include a 20% gratuity for staff, can be bought online.

Lucy’s
Lucy’s, located on Chestnut Street, will open at 8:30 a.m. The sports bar also will offer special game day brunch items, including items like the early bird, hangover nachos, the Coop, a breakfast burger, loaded hash browns, bloody Marys, and a “man-mosa” — which is a twist on a classic mimosa that replaces the sparkling wine with beer.
Evil Genius Beer Company
Evil Genius Beer Company, located on Front Street, will open at 9 a.m. Sunday instead of their typical noon for a “Birds in Britain Brunch.” The bar will offer brunch bites, cocktails, and beer towers with the game (including sound) playing on their 16-foot screens. A DJ will take over during commercial breaks.
Yards Brewing
Yards Brewing will be opening at 9 a.m. Sunday. The bar, located on Spring Garden Street, will feature a special London menu — including a bacon, egg, and cheese sarnie and an eggy bread, which features a brioche bun, french toast, strawberries, blueberries, whipped cream, and maple syrup.
Beverages include their Trash Talk IPA and a trio of cocktails: beer-mosas, bloody Marys, and bird juice. Seating is first come, first served.
Craft Hall
Craft Hall, located on Delaware Avenue, will open at 8:30 a.m. instead of their typical 11 a.m. The bar will offer brunch specials like E-L-G-S-E-S nachos (a nod to Mayor Cherelle L. Parker’s infamous misspelling of Eagles) and the “Da Birds Special,” which features cornflake-coated chicken, buffalo sauce, and ranch on a brioche bun, and served with fries. There also will be $7 beer-mosas and $8 bloody Marys.
Sports & Social at Live! Casino & Hotel
Sports & Social at Live! Casino & Hotel, located on Packer Avenue, is hosting a “Babes, Birds, and Brunch,” event, starting at 9 a.m. The event will offer brunch favorites, including bloody Marys and espresso martinis. Local vendors will be there, and there will be multiple giveaways, including a halftime handbag hunt.
Proceeds from a Tito’s vodka drink special will benefit the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.
Dock Street Brewery
Dock Street Brewery, located on Washington Avenue, will open at 9 a.m. Sunday. The bar will serve brunch, coffee, espresso drinks, and beer and brunch cocktails.
Byrne’s Tavern
Byrne’s Tavern, which typically opens at 11 a.m. on Sundays, will open at 9 a.m. this week for the Eagles-Jaguars game. The bar located on Richmond Street will offer peppers and egg breakfast sandwiches along with cold beer.
Libertee Grounds
Libertee Grounds, located on Girard Avenue, will open at 9 a.m. and will feature a limited brunch menu — including a breakfast hash, a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit sandwich, and a breakfast plate. Reservations can be made on Resy.
Bar-Ly
Chinatown sports bar Bar-Ly will open at 9 a.m. on Sunday with a special Eagles breakfast and drink menu. Table reservations can be made via phone.
McGillin’s Olde Ale House
McGillin’s Olde Ale House will open at 9 a.m. for “Kegs and Eggs McGillin.” The bar, located on Drury Street, will serve a full menu, plus eggs McGillin.
