The Eagles are activating left guard Landon Dickerson and tight ends Eli Stowers and Grant Calcaterra off of injured reserve ahead of Monday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Additionally, the Eagles elevated outside linebacker Keyshawn James-Newby and running back Elijah Mitchell from the practice squad to the game day roster.

Dickerson, 28, was placed on injured reserve in the aftermath of the Eagles’ Week 1 win over the Washington Commanders with a knee injury, which he later revealed to be a bone bruise sustained during training camp. In his absence, the Eagles tried different options at left guard, including Cam Jurgens in Weeks 2-4 until he was traded to the Baltimore Ravens.

The Eagles then turned to 2025 undrafted free agent Willie Lampkin. Dickerson is expected to resume his starting duties at left guard. He and center Drew Kendall could return to action against the Cowboys, as the Eagles offensive line gets as close to full strength as they will be for the rest of the season (albeit without Jurgens and Lane Johnson).

Dickerson was a full participant in practice Saturday after practicing in a limited capacity Thursday and Friday. He popped up on Thursday’s injury report with a pectoral injury in addition to the knee ailment that originally landed him on injured reserve.

Stowers, the 2026 second-rounder out of Vanderbilt, is available to make his NFL regular-season debut against the Cowboys. The rookie tight end was placed on injured reserve with a quadriceps injury the day before the season opener.

He also dealt with a hamstring injury during training camp. Stowers had a lackluster preseason, combining for three receptions on five targets for 12 yards through the first two games. He did not play in the third and final preseason game due to injury.

Calcaterra, 27, was placed on injured reserve at the end of training camp with a back injury. The Eagles now have four tight ends on the active roster in Calcaterra, Stowers, Dallas Goedert, and Johnny Mundt. Zach Ertz remains on the practice squad and is out of game-day roster elevations.

Cornerback Jakorian Bennett (knee) is still on injured reserve, as he was ruled out against the Cowboys. He can practice for one more week before the Eagles must decide to place him on the active roster or on season-ending injured reserve.

The Eagles seem reluctant to address the handling of the Jalen Hurts blood clots saga, but the key questions involved in the story aren’t going anywhere. Throughout the week, in the absence of remarks from general manager Howie Roseman or team medical personnel, head coach Nick Sirianni was peppered by reporters. He’s offered few details in return. After speaking with high-ranking medical officials currently or previously employed by NFL teams, The Inquirer’s Jeff McLane frames four central issues that remain unanswered, while also looking at what this situation means for Hurts’ future in Philadelphia. Listen here.
