Temple’s suburban Ambler Campus is home to a 187-acre arboretum, greenhouses, gardens, and more.
It’s here that Tyler School of Art and Architecture’s landscape architecture and horticulture students and faculty built the 2026 Philadelphia Flower Show display, “CommonWealth: Nourishing Community and Our Natural World,” which has been awarded several top honors, including the @phsgardening Gold Medal.
The Inquirer spoke to students and faculty ahead of the Philadelphia Flower Show, which continues at the Pennsylvania Convention Center through March 8, to learn more about the display and the process of bringing it to life.
