Man killed in Northern Liberties shooting

A 20-year-old man was fatally wounded in a shooting Thursday evening in the city’s Northern Liberties section, police said.

Shortly before 5:30 p.m., the man, who was not identified, was outside on the 600 block of Green Street when he was shot several times. Police took him to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:10.

Police reported no arrests or other details.
