Man killed in Strawberry Mansion shooting

The shooting happened in the 1800 block of North 31st Street.

An unidentified man was killed Tuesday night in a shooting in the city’s Strawberry Mansion section, police said.

Shortly before 8:30 p.m., the man, described as possibly in his 50s, was outside in the 1800 block of North 31st Street when he was shot in the head and back.

He was transported by police to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead at 8:45.

Police reported no arrests or other details.
