Is the Jersey Shore your home away from home? Where your mind drifts during the week? The Inquirer is launching a new way to stay connected this summer.

The Shore Line is part text-message newsletter and part group chat, hosted by reporter and Shore local Amy S. Rosenberg and her editor Evan Weiss. What to expect:

Every Thursday morning, members will receive a bite-size dispatch from Amy that includes a restaurant recommendation, thing to do, and the latest topic of conversation.

Evan will also ask you Shore aficionados to weigh in on an etiquette question each week. (Music on the beach? How close is too close? Yes, we’re still taking suggestions.) The results will also be part of Amy’s weekly Down the Shore newsletter.

And the team is here to support you, too. Did you have a question about some news you heard about? Want to send Amy a tip? Need to vent about that guy feeding the seagulls? Text the chat.

You can sign up below or at this link, and expect dispatches to start in a few weeks.
