Sixers still eyeing roster moves

General manager Sam Hinkie said the 76ers are still "heavily engaged" in trade conversations and discussions with free agents with a little over month before training camp.

"I know the big names all disappear in the first two or three days," he said, "but NBA trades and free agency those are the kind of things that happen every day in the offseason. And we are still active there."

One of the Sixers most glaring needs involves adding another point guards with NBA experience. Hinkie was asked if the team was specifically trying to fill that void.

"I'm not the one to tell you want we are trying to accomplish during a trade," Hinkie said. "I'm sorry. We got lots of goals in trade. We got lots of goals in trade and lot of goals in free agency. Some of our partners not knowing exactly what those are sure helps."
