Camden wants you to know that there are good things going on in the often troubled city. That’s the goal of their new initiative, the “Goodness Project.” was born when various organizations throughout Camden got together and decided to shine a light on all the encouraging things happening around the city in “hopes to inspire others through goodness.”
To kick off this initiative, the city put together a lively video, released on Good Friday, to none other than Pharrell William’s hit song ‘Happy.’ The video showcases some of the cities positive elements including the Boys and Girls Club, the Salvation Army and the Teen Advisory Council.
Crews from Drexel University and Emmy nominated movie director Steve Acito worked for free and made the inspirational video possible.
‘Happy’ has continued to inspire uplifting videos across the global in places like Malawi, the Philippines and locally at Temple University.
