Philadelphia's own Boyz II Men are back, and they've made their return with "Snowy Day," a new holiday-themed track.
The song, written by members Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Wanya Morris, premiered Wednesday via Essence Magazine, which noted that the track "wraps around you like a blanket and makes you yearn for a cozy night with family."
Now that is some powerful R&B.
The song is part of Amazon's forthcoming holiday special, The Snowy Day. Based on writer Ezra Jack Keats' award-winning 1962 book of the same name, the movie follows a young boy named Peter as he explores his neighborhood following the season's first snowfall. The animated holiday special premieres via Amazon Prime on Nov. 25.
The track itself will also be available for stream or download via Prime Music and Amazon Music Unlimited on Nov. 25.
"We are thrilled to be a part of Amazon's holiday special this season," said Boyz II Men's Nathan Morris. "We hope our fans can enjoy 'Snowy Day' with their family and friends as they celebrate this Thanksgiving."
The whole track is currently streaming on Essence. A preview of the song is below:
