Local rapper Lushlife crafts five-hour Eagles tailgate playlist

Apparently there is such a thing as an official DJ for the Philadelphia Eagles. Philly rapper and producer Lushlife is that guy, per an announcement on his Facebook page yesterday. Duties include providing the musical score to every Eagles home game at Lincoln Financial Field.

So what does the "Eagles Touchdown Club DJ" suggest fans listen to during a tailgate?

In the sweeping five-hour, 74-song Eagles Game Day Vol. 1 playlist, Lushlife brings music and athletics together with tracks from both Philly acts and international artists. Ranging from current chart-toppers like Major Lazer's "Lean On" and Jidenna's "Classic Man" to classics like "Train in Vain" by The Clash" and "The Boys are Back in Town" by Thin Lizzy — and pretty much everything in between — this is one tailgate playlist for every type of fan.

Take a listen below.

In other Eagles music news, linebacker Connor Barwin recently revealed his pre- and post-game playlist items to Sports Illustrated, with picks including Eminem, Meek Mill, Kanye West, Hall & Oates, Rolling Stones, Foster the People, Cut Copy and Foster the People. Barwin's Make the World Better Foundation has also hosted Kurt Vile, The Districts, Mac Demarco and Marian Hill, which leads us to wonder what Barwin would think of Lushlife's musical curation.
