Last night U-Bahn (1320 Chestnut St.) held its opening party.

Named for the metro system in Germany, the new underground bar and music venue from Teddy Sourias, the owner of Brü Craft & Wurst and Finn McCools, has a great cool vibe where guests can enjoy delicious bites, beers, bands and dancing. There's a section of the room with vintage games like Ms Pac Man, Asteroids and Mortal Combat. The menus, which are inside old album covers, feature everything from Philly street food-inspired sandwiches to local cheese boards, house-made pickles, dips, deviled eggs, popcorn and more.

There's table service as well as two bars that pour 18 rotating drafts and plenty cocktails, too. They also offer PA-based wines and canned beer. Musical entertainment will feature a few rotating house bands and one time performers as well. They're always looking for bands to perform on their stage so apply online.

It's been packed since it's opening last week, so get there early!
