Police on Saturday identified two men who died in a rowhouse fire in Chester, Delaware County, on Friday as brothers Steven Demby, 49, and Sherman Demby, 35.

The fire at the home on the 1000 block of Morton Avenue was ruled accidental. It started in the kitchen, near a chest freezer, and the cause may have been electrical, the Chester Police Department said in a news release.

The brothers' mother escaped the fire that swept through the home Friday morning.

Fire and police departments responded at about 11:53 a.m. There, responders discovered that people were trapped in the two-story brick rowhome.
