JoséJosé: A vegan taqueria in Rittenhouse

Nicole Marquis, creator of HipCityVeg and Charlie was a sinner., is looking at early June now for her third vegan concept, a taqueria that will be known as JoséJosé.

The only clues were "Marquis Latin Philly LLC," the corporate name on an application for a liquor license, combined with the fact that real estate mogul and City Council candidate Allan Domb, Marquis' landlord at Charlie was a sinner., owns the property.

Marquis burst onto the scene only three years ago, doling out vegan fast food from a storefront with HipCityVeg. A University City branch opened in October 2013. Last May, she opened Charlie was a sinner., a noirish vegan bar.

Just as Marquis has never talked too much about Charlie and his sinning ways, I'm sure she'll have little to say about this JoséJosé character - guessing he's not the Mexican singer.
