A lover's quarrel that started inside a car in South Philadelphia early yesterday ended in death when the man got out of the vehicle and his girlfriend ran over him, police said.

They found the victim, Tyrone Taylor, 28, lying against the wall of a house with his 30-year-old girlfriend, Keisha Jones, standing next to him, police said.
Jones told police that she and Taylor had been fighting inside a black 2002 Acura when Taylor, who was driving, pulled over and got out of the car.
Jones then jumped behind the wheel and pinned Taylor, who lived on Taylor Street near Morris, between the car and a wall of a house, killing him, police said. Jones, of Kershaw Street near 53rd, has been charged with murder and related offenses.
