Reward offered in attack on teen in Northern Liberties

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information about an attack on a 17-year-old boy in Northern Liberties.

Philadelphia police said the teenager was assaulted after leaving a friend's home on the 900 block of North 4th Street at 12:45 a.m. on Nov. 16.

While the teen was waiting outside for someone to pick him up, three unknown black men began kicking and punching him, police said.

The victim lost consciousness during the attack and suffered a broken jaw and teeth. He was treated at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Police today released surveillance video from the incident and said the department was offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the assailants.
