Man, 34, shot dead in Oxford Circle

A 34-year-old man was shot dead in Oxford Circle Tuesday morning, police said.

James Haywood, of Oxford Circle, was shot several times in the torso on Oxford Avenue near Benner Street shortly after 11 a.m., police said. He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 11:45 a.m.

Police reported no motive or suspects.
