Police identify woman killed in hit-and-run accident
Philadelphia police have identified the Bella Vista woman who was killed in a hit-and-run accident Tuesday night. Theresa M. Pozzi, 33, was crossing State Road in Holmesburg to get to a bus stop around 5:20 p.m. when she was hit by a truck, police said.

Theresa M. Pozzi, 33, was crossing State Road in Holmesburg to get to a bus stop around 5:20 p.m. when she was hit by a truck, police said.
The truck fled northbound on State Road. Pozzi was pronounced dead about an hour later at Aria Torresdale Hospital.
Accident investigators are searching for an dark-colored older model truck - possibly a pickup truck or a tow truck, police said.
