Clayton boys slip past Wildwood, 85-84

Michael Gibson had a double-double Monday as Clayton edged Wildwood, 85-84, in a Tri-County Conference boys' basketball clash. Gibson finished with 17 points, 17 rebounds, and two blocks in the Clippers' home win.

Saleem Brown added 19 points, eight rebounds and one assist and Mahir Yilmiv netted 16 points to go along with four rebounds for Clayton.

For Wildwood, Trayvon Young had 29 points, 14 rebounds and 3 assists.

Burlington County League. Craig Turner finished Cinnaminson's 72-59 win against visiting Pennsauken Tech with 20 points, including four three-pointers.

Conor Bresnahan added a game-leading 30 points for the Pirates.

Deonte Woodbury had 18 points as Burlington City defeated Holy Cross, 59-43, on the road.

Nonleague. Damon Jones led the way with 16 points as host Camden County Tech topped Vineland Prep, 70-61.

Girls' Basketball

Brianna Fritz scored 17 points as Riverside handled Camden Academy Charter, 53-24, at home in a nonleague matchup.

In other nonleague action, Maniya Custis had 12 points as Paul VI defeated Seneca, 63-29, on the road.
