A 28-year-old man was shot and killed in Southwest Philly, police say

No arrests were made and no weapon was recovered at the scene, police said.

A 28-year-old man was shot and killed in Southwest Philadelphia on Sunday night, police said. No arrests were made and no weapon was recovered at the scene.

The man was shot three times, including once in the neck, about 8 o’clock on the 5800 block of Trinity Street in the city’s Kingsessing section, authorities said.

He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in West Philadelphia by police and pronounced dead. Police didn’t release anything else about the victim.
