A 27-year-old man was fatally wounded in a shooting Tuesday evening in South Philadelphia, police said.
The victim was shot in the chest around 6:40 p.m. outside in the 1500 block of South Taney Street. He was trnsported by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and pronounced dead at 7:26.
Police reported no arrests and no other details were released.
