Each Friday, Inquirer photo editors pick the best sports images from the last seven days. This week saw the debuts of two of the city’s top prospects — Phillies pitcher Andrew Painter and Flyers forward Porter Martone — although they took very different paths to Philly. Painter’s debut had been anticipated for several years, while Martone only recently wrapped up his college career. Elsewhere, the Flyers continued their playoff push and spring began to bloom across the region.
