Atlanta police have booked Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Very on charges including reckless driving following a dirt bike chase in the city last week.
The incident, TMZ reports, occurred last Thursday, when Vert (real name: Symere Woods) and an unnamed accomplice were spotted riding dirt bikes without lights or helmets. Police say they witnessed the pair drive on sidewalks, up one-way streets, and across lanes of traffic.
Vert ultimately ditched his bike following an attempt to flee, police said. His partner attempted to get away on foot, but was apprehended.
As a result of the incident, police charged Vert with reckless driving, not having a license, and obstruction, among other infractions. The rapper posted a $6,500 bond on Friday, which he followed up Tuesday with an Instagram post of him doing a wheelie on a dirt bike with a caption reading that he is "RIGHT BACK Outchea":
Vert is next scheduled to perform in Philadelphia in Dec. 22, when he will hold his "Very Uzi Christmas" show at the Fillmore.
