Listen: Philly's 'Hamilton' star releases track from his upcoming Christmas album

Leslie Odom Jr. will not be outdone by his former Hamilton costar Lin-Manuel Miranda.

On Thursday, Miranda announced the Philadelphia-heavy tracklist for The Hamilton Mixtape. Friday, East Oak Lane born Tony Award winner Odom teased his upcoming Christmas album by releasing his version of  "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."

Odom's Simply Christmas is a jazzy take on Christmas classic. It's out Nov. 11.
