Katy Harris and her fiancée Chris Eisenmann really like Taylor Swift. Really.
She turned him onto Swift's good-girl country back in 2006. They attend her concerts religiously, even dressing in costume. Harris' Instagram handle features a play on the pop star's name. They even originally planned to get married on Swift's 25th birthday, Dec. 13.
Now they can add one more thing to the list: Eloping outside a Taylor Swift concert.
In parking Lot K at Lincoln Financial Field, Katy Harris and Chris Eisenmann said, "I do" just before the kick-off for Swift's two-night Philadelphia stay.
Decked out in appropriate wedding attire — a bridal gown for her, a tux for him — even in the late-afternoon 90-plus-degree heat, the couple exchanged vows in front of a crowd of Swifties, friends and family members, including Harris' brother, who performed the ceremony.
They drove — separately — from Cape May County this afternoon and will attend the concert as they'd originally planned to.
Though super fans, this Swiftie elopement wasn't their first idea when it came to saying "I do." Still paying homage to the artist that brought them together, the pair originally sought a more traditional wedding experience. They had to postpone for financial reasons.
However, when planning their coordinating costumes for this weekend's 1989 World Tour, Harris took a look at her patiently waiting wedding dress and decided now was as good a time as ever to tie the knot. Eisenmann was on board.
Fast-forward two weeks, two wedding bands and a marriage license later, they're ready to share their wedding reception with tens of thousands of other fans geared up to see their idol shake it off.
Which makes Swift one heck of a wedding singer.
