DNC host committee chief headed to Cozen O'Connor

Kevin Washo, who headed Philadelphia’s host committee for the Democratic National Convention, is joining Cozen O’Connor as a government relations principal, the firm said Tuesday.

Kevin Washo, who headed Philadelphia's host committee for the Democratic National Convention, is joining Cozen O'Connor as a government relations principal, the firm said Tuesday.

Washo will advise the law firm's corporate and nonprofit clients on political and legislative issues and work as a liaison between government stakeholders and clients in Pennsylvania and Washington D.C.

Prior to the DNC, Washo headed the Pennsylvania Democratic Party, worked for Senator Bob Casey and as Barack Obama's state political director in 2008.
